Ionizaci\u00f3n es una de las cuatro obras que Gloria Contreras hizo inspirada en las composiciones del m\u00fasico franco americano Edgar Var\u00e8se. Ambos artistas \u2015Contreras y Var\u00e8se\u2015 nos brindan una obra vanguardista: la danza es interpretada por siete bailarinas, mientras que la orquestaci\u00f3n de esta pieza la ejecutan 13 m\u00fasicos que tocan diversos instrumentos de percusi\u00f3n y un piano, al que se agregan ruidos grabados del ambiente como sirenas, zumbidos, bocinazos,\u2026<\/p>\n
Las otras dos piezas de Contreras que completan esta funci\u00f3n son el Escarabajo de Gaspar de la noche del franc\u00e9s Maurice Ravel y Redenci\u00f3n, creada a la Gran Misa del austr\u00edaco Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.<\/p>\n
