El infielder Alejo L\u00f3pez fue llamado al equipo grande de los Rojos de Cincinnati este domingo y podr\u00eda estar debutando esta misma semana en el mejor beisbol del mundo luego de haber brillado en las menores en 2021.<\/div>\n
L\u00f3pez, de 25 a\u00f1os, bate\u00f3 para .362 de AVG en 105 turnos en AA y para .358 de AVG en 95 turnos en AAA exhibiendo OPS de .920 en ambos circuitos con solo 18 ponches en 224 visitas al plato. Esa capacidad de contacto ha sido la tercera mejor para bateadores regulares entre AA y AAA este a\u00f1o ponch\u00e1ndose solo el 7.9% de sus turnos. Adem\u00e1s, el AVG exhibido entre ambas ligas (.360) es el quinto mejor entre titulares.<\/div>\n
Sus capacidades ofensivas fueron adem\u00e1s complementadas con un guante multifac\u00e9tico que trabaj\u00f3 mayoritariamente en la segunda base (37 juegos) pero que tambi\u00e9n fue probado exitosamente en la antesala (8 juegos) este a\u00f1o. Su rol dentro de los Rojos inicialmente ser\u00e1 el de ofrecer profundidad al infield detr\u00e1s de los guantes de Jonathan India (camarero), Eugenio Su\u00e1rez (antesalista) y Kyle Farmer (campocorto). Incluso, L\u00f3pez podr\u00eda ver acci\u00f3n ocasional en los jardines ofreciendo descanso a Jesse Winker y Nick Castellanos.<\/div>\n
Alejo L\u00f3pez forma parte de las filas de Diablos Rojos del M\u00e9xico en la LMB desde que fuese tomado por los escarlatas en el draft de mexicanos sin derechos de retorno. Ahora se unir\u00e1 a Julio Ur\u00edas, Luis Ur\u00edas, Ram\u00f3n Ur\u00edas, Luis Cessa, Isaac Paredes, Joakim Soria, V\u00edctor Gonz\u00e1lez, Giovanny Gallegos y Humberto Castellanos como los Diablos que han dicho presente en la campa\u00f1a 2021 de Grandes Ligas.<\/div>\n
