Los Diablos Rojos del M\u00e9xico contar\u00e1n en 2022 con una ficha importada directamente del mejor beisbol asi\u00e1tico, ya que el jardinero Tomo Otosaka llega a los escarlatas como parte del grupo de extranjeros para la Temporada 2022 de la Liga Mexicana de Beisbol (LMB).<\/div>\n

Otosaka, de 28 a\u00f1os, jug\u00f3 8 campa\u00f1as en Jap\u00f3n con el Yokohama Baystars, equipo con el que tom\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 750 turnos en ese complejo circuito desde 2014 hasta 2021. Su venida a M\u00e9xico, sin embargo, no deber\u00eda sorprender considerando el \u00e9xito que tuvo en la Liga Mexicana del Pac\u00edfico en 2017 cuando bate\u00f3 para .410 de porcentaje de bateo en 100 turnos con los Yaquis de Obreg\u00f3n.<\/div>\n

\u201cTomo Otosaka ha sido un jugador que hemos estudiado y que en todo momento nos ha llamado la atenci\u00f3n tanto por su excelente defensiva y su velocidad en los jardines como por lo hecho como primer bate en ese primer a\u00f1o con los Yaquis de Obreg\u00f3n. Creemos que ese perfil de primer bate inc\u00f3modo y de defensor \u00e9lite en los jardines que tiene Otosaka ofrece gran valor para nuestra organizaci\u00f3n en estos momentos\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Jorge del Valle, gerente deportivo de Diablos Rojos del M\u00e9xico.<\/div>\n

Otosaka ha jugado en todas las posiciones de los jardines en su carrera, pero su posici\u00f3n natural es el jard\u00edn central, lugar que ha defendido en casi 300 innings desde 2019 en las Grandes Ligas niponas.<\/div>\n
