Los Diablos Rojos del M\u00e9xico finalizaron su participaci\u00f3n en la Temporada 2022 de la Liga Invernal Mexicana (LIM) quedando en el tercer sitio del standing, luego de concluir con un r\u00e9cord de 14-10.<\/div>\n

La \u2018Pandilla Escarlata\u2019 gan\u00f3 sus \u00faltimos seis juegos de la campa\u00f1a, un cierre que les permiti\u00f3 pasar de un 8-10 al 14-10 final, aun as\u00ed, no fue suficiente para meterse a la Serie del Pr\u00edncipe (Serie Final).<\/div>\n

\u201cTuvimos un gran cierre pero no nos alcanz\u00f3 para los playoffs. Ahora nos toca analizar lo que pas\u00f3 y estar pendiente de los muchachos para saber a d\u00f3nde van para que sigan trabajando para que logren su sue\u00f1o\u201d, explic\u00f3 Ger\u00f3nimo Gil, manager de los Diablos en la LIM.<\/div>\n

La escuadra capitalina concluy\u00f3 con la mejor ofensiva del torneo al sumar 200 carreras anotadas, lo que le permiti\u00f3 tener el mejor diferencial de carreras anotadas y recibidas de toda la LIM, con un +45; mientras que en el pitcheo cerr\u00f3 con una efectividad de 5.98.<\/div>\n

\u201cLo que m\u00e1s me gust\u00f3 es el enfoque que tuvieron (los peloteros), de saber lo que es jugar con los Diablos, de respetar la historia del equipo y todos pelearon, lucharon y defendieron los colores del equipo\u201d, continu\u00f3 Gil.<\/div>\n

A lo largo de la campa\u00f1a, los Diablos le dieron la oportunidad a 49 peloteros (21 bateadores y 28 lanzadores), teniendo a 28 que tienen 19 o menos a\u00f1os de edad. En ese listado aparecieron tres jugadores de tan solo 15 a\u00f1os de edad: Humberto Cruz (pitcher), \u00c1ngel Arredondo (infielder) y Sebasti\u00e1n Baquera (c\u00e1tcher).<\/div>\n

\u201cMe voy contento por el trabajo de los muchachos. Yo creo que la filosof\u00eda de Diablos siempre es de darle la oportunidad a los j\u00f3venes para que se desempe\u00f1en y tengan la oportunidad de llegar a Estados Unidos o a Liga Mexicana. Lo que tenemos claro es que todos los chavos dejaron el cien por ciento en el terreno de juego\u201d, sentenci\u00f3 Ger\u00f3nimo.<\/div>\n
