El lanzador Humberto Cruz, de 16 a\u00f1os, y el receptor Brandon Jaime, de 18, firmaron este s\u00e1bado 3 de junio una jornada hist\u00f3rica luego de hacer su debut y lograr su primer hit en la Liga Mexicana de B\u00e9isbol (LMB), respectivamente.<\/div>\n

Cruz fue el pitcher abridor del duelo y trabaj\u00f3 una entrada completa, enfrentando a cinco bateadores en la segunda, terminando su actuaci\u00f3n con cuatro hits y tres carreras admitidas, con dos bases regaladas y sin ponches.<\/div>\n

“Al principio estaba nervioso pero despu\u00e9s de sacar el primer out se me fueron y ya le segu\u00ed”, explic\u00f3 Cruz. “Estoy muy contento porque todos mis compa\u00f1eros y mi cuerpo t\u00e9cnico me trataron muy bien y me estuvieron apoyando todo el tiempo”.<\/div>\n

En esta aparici\u00f3n el derecho realiz\u00f3 38 pitcheos, 23 de los cuales fueron strikes. Cruz sac\u00f3 la primera entrada en cuatro bateadores, un cap\u00edtulo en el que solo le pegaron un imparable (triple). Cruz hizo su debut en la LMB pero ya hab\u00eda lanzado en el Estadio Alfredo Harp Hel\u00fa durante la Liga Invernal Mexicana, un trabajo que le fue de gran ayuda para su aparici\u00f3n del s\u00e1bado.<\/div>\n

“La experiencia de la Liga Invernal me ayud\u00f3 porque ya hab\u00eda tirado aqu\u00ed, entonces fue algo que ya hab\u00eda vivido y eso me ayud\u00f3. Adem\u00e1s, cuando estaba en la loma no escuchaba a nadie nada m\u00e1s estaba concentrado en pitchear pero al estar en el dugout s\u00ed escuch\u00e9 a la gente y fue muy bonito”.<\/div>\n

Por su parte, Jaime fue el catcher titular y en la segunda entrada dio un sencillo al jard\u00edn derecho con el que conect\u00f3 su primer imparable en la LMB. A final de cuentas se fue de 3-2 con una anotada.<\/div>\n

“Estoy muy contento de que se me dio la oportunidad de pegar ese hit que tanto estaba siguiendo”, explic\u00f3 el receptor. “En ese turno solo estaba pensando ‘mira la bola y dale’, pas\u00f3 y cay\u00f3. Y luego cay\u00f3 otro y eso me hizo sentir muy bien y s\u00e9 que es parte de un proceso y que vienen buenas cosas para mi”.<\/div>\n
